Security company donates rations to NCD/Central Police

Friday 9 April 2021

Port Moresby based Alpha Response Security Services yesterday (April 8), donated over 1,000 cartons of biscuits, noodles and tinned fish for police personnel engaged in the COVID-19 operations in NCD and the  Central province

The company’s Chief Executive Officer Oscar Wei said they made this commitment as a gesture of their appreciation towards members of the Constabulary who are working tirelessly to enforce the COVID-19 Pandemic restrictions in NCD and Central Province.

Mr Wei said the company is making this donation on behalf of the entire NCD community because they appreciate the good work the police are doing.

“The rations would hopefully boost the morale of our law enforcement officers as they continue to carry out their constitutional roles and responsibilities,  in ensuring that peace and good order is maintained at this very difficult time when our country is experiencing another wave of the Coronavirus onslaught,” Mr Wei added.

Commander of NCD/Central Assistant Commissioner Anthony Wagambie Junior thanked the company for its generous support, adding, “the rations would be distributed to all the NCD police stations, Central Police Headquarters, and the various COVID-19 check points within NCD.”
