Religious activities, essential services exempted from recent ban on gatherings of more than 100 people

The Commissioner of Police and Controller of the PNG COVID-19 National Pandemic Response , David Manning, has exempted religious activities and essential services  from  the recent directive to ban gatherings of 100 or more persons, in Papua New Guinea.

This direction comes into effect today (January 25) and shall remain in force until February 28, 2022 or as revoked by the Controller.
