Marape pays tribute to late Wayne Golding

The Prime Minister, Hon. James Marape, pays tribute to the Late Wayne Golding, adding he was a genuine Entrepreneur who was keen on promoting the local Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) sector in the country.

He said this when conveying his condolences to the family of the Late Wayne Golding and especially the PNG Business Council.

Prime Minister Marape said he was an influential and instrumental Entrepreneur who believed in growing a local PNG SME sector.

“The Late Wayne was so keen on Papua New Guineans getting into business, local production and marketing using PNG made products.

“He was also instrumental in promoting the PNG Made logo products in the country when he was associated with the PNG Manufacturers Council.

“The Late Wayne later on moved into the areas of investments in banking and as of 2018 was on the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) when PNG hosted APEC in Port Moresby in 2018,” said Prime Minister Marape.

He was forging and engaging business and marketing relationships with international and world Leaders during ABAC meetings.

“His contributions to the local business community were immense and will be remembered and missed.

“The Pangu Pati –  lead Government which is a strong advocate of promoting local SMEs passes our deepest and sincere condolences to the family and immediate relatives of the Late Wayne Golding.

“Papua New Guinea businesses big and small will remember him for his contributions to the growth of our economy for many more years to come,” said Prime Minister Marape.
