Thursday 27 January 2022

The Commissioner of Police and Controller of the PNG COVID-19 National Pandemic Response has directed that an approval to enter Papua New Guinea under Measure 2, paragraph 8 is valid for a period of 60 days.

Under the new direction, which is set to come into effect on Friday January 28, 2022, a person who has received an approval to enter PNG can enter at a designated point of entry as many times as they require within the 60 days.

However, a person entering PNG on second or subsequent occasions whilst in possession of their original 60-day approval must satisfy all other entry requirements within Measure 2, International Travel Measures.

Paragraph 9 of Measure 2, International Travel Measures, which states that all travel approval must be used only once is revoked.

(Directive can be viewed  in details on  this official covid19 website).
